    Warrens Party and More

We had Warrens Birthday party last Saturday.  We didn't do anything big.  Partly because I was still refusing to believe my baby was two and for the fact that we have been so busy a big bash just wasn't in the mix.  We had two of my young women come over.  Mareke and Kylee.  My kids adore those girls.  My mom and Erin where also there.  It was perfect.  He loved every bit of it.  We bought him Better Batter Baseball and it was a hit!  No pun intended.  He will play with that toy for hours!
We also had the chance to visit the traveling Vetinam Memorial Wall.  It came to Odgen and we took the time to go see it.  I am so glad we did.  It was a very powerful experience.  I know that I don't really know those men on the wall, but my mom knew some of them.  She cried, alot.  That got me crying.  And the spirit of the place too.  It could knock you over with a  feather!  I had no clue how long the wall was.  People were leaving messages and gifts along the wall.   It really was touching to read all those notes.  The names really became people.
Kimball is still potty training!  We are so proud of him.  We are only haveing about two accidents a day.  Peeing, he had no problem with, it is the sitting down that he thinks he doesn't have to do.  But I know it will come with time.
Phoebe has a doctors appointment today with her ENT.  She is having sever sleep apnea and sore throat, swollen tonsills and sinus infections.  She hasn't slept well in weeks.  It is starting to take it's toll on all of us.  I really hope she can just get her tonsills out.  I know that will make a huge difference with her overall health.
Warren is finally back to being "normal" from his reacent bout with whatever he had.  He is finally sleeping  through the night!! Yippee!
So pretty much life is back to the norm.  But is it sad that I am already counting the days till schools starts?
